Yes, candidates belonging to the SC, and other reserved categories will be considered for admission under both the respective and open categories.

Considering you belong to the SC category, this means you will be considered for open and SC admission lists. If you meet the cut-off in any of these lists, you will get admission.

But the institute you are being allocated will depend on the course you have selected (and their order of priority) at the time of choice-filling. Note that if you are not offered the first preferred seat, you are typically considered for upgradation in subsequent rounds.

NIFT Hyderabad cutoff 2024 has been released across various specialisations in opening and closing ranks. NIFT Hyderabad BDes, MFM and MFTech cutoff 2024 ranged between 238 and 1351 for the General AI category candidates, wherein Master in Fashion Management (MFM) is the most competitive course. The easiest specialisation to secure admission in NIFT Hyderabad is B.Des. in Knitwear Design. The NIFT Bengaluru admission cut-offs are now available for Round I, II, and III. The cut-off has been released for all the 18 participating colleges. To check the cut-off, you need to go to the https://admissions.nic.in/ portal.

Candidate must check all the details carefully after downloading the NIFT admit card 2026. To download NIFT 2026 admit card

•  Go to NIFT admission portal - niftadmissions.
•  If admit card is released, then admit card download link will be displayed
•  Click on the admit card download link
• You will be redirected to a log-in window
• Enter application number and date of birth
• On log-in, you can view and download the NIFT admit card
•  Download and take a printout of the admit card.

No, NIFT Admit card will not be sent by email or post. Candidates have to download the admit card from admission portal of National Institute of Fashion Technology. To download the admit card, click on the admit card download link and log in by entering your credentials. 

Along with NIFT 2026 admit card, you must bring with you a valid photo ID proof. The photo ID proof can be any of the following documents Aadhaar Card, Passport, Driving License, School or College ID Card or Voter ID. Candidates who fail to bring the mandatory documents will not be allowed to take the exam. Note that the candidate is also recommended to carefully go through the guidelines mentioned on the NIFT 2026 admit card. This will help the candidate stay out of trouble on exam day. For instance, the admit card will contain guidelines on what items to carry and not to carry to the exam center.
