NIFT Patna Admission Process 2025
National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Patna admissions are based on entrance exam. NIFT Patna offers degree and certificate programmes at the undergraduate (UG) and post-graduate (PG) level. The institute offers courses across Design, Technology and Management streams. UG courses offered by NIFT Patna include BDes in Fashion Design, Accessory Design, Textile Design and Fashion Communication. On the other hand, the design school offers only one PG course which is the Master of Fashion Management (MFM). It also offers Continuing Education (CE) programmes in Fashion and Clothing Technology which is of one-year duration.
NIFT Patna Admission 2025: Eligibility & Selection
NIFT Patna admission process for UG and PG courses starts in May every year. Candidates can apply for admission to the course of their choice in online mode. Admission to UG and PG courses is based on marks scored in NIFT Entrance Exam. NIFT Entrance Exam is divided into three parts i.e. Creative Ability Test (CAT), General Ability Test (GAT) and Situation Test/ Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD and PI) round. Candidates planning to pursue BDes are required to appear for CAT and GAT exams followed by the Situation Test. A valid score in the GAT exam is required for admission to BFTech. Students are selected for the MFM programme based on their performance in the GAT exam followed by the GD and PI round conducted by the institute. NIFT Patna MDes is a four-year course at the UG level, which is offered in a full-time mode. Admission to this UG course is done based on a valid score obtained in the entrance exam comprising of a Creative Ability Test (CAT) and a General Ability Test (GAT). Shortlisted candidates on the basis of CAT/ GAT test scores are then required to appear for the Personal Interview (PI) round.

National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Patna application process 2025 is open. Aspiring candidates for admission to NIFT Patna can follow the given steps:

The late fee application window will open once the deadline to fill out the NIFT 2024 application form with regular fee closes.
