NIFT Situation Test will be of 2 hours. In this time, candidates have to draw the given 3D model and write about it. 

There is no dress code for the NTA NIFT Situation Test. But it is advisable to dress up neatly and smartly. Students should avoid chunky jewellery and flashy logos for the exam.

After NIFT Situation Test, NIFT prepares a final merit list based on the weighted average of GAT, CAT, and Situation Test and Interview scores. Qualified candidates are then invited for counselling.

NIFT Stage 2 will have Situation Test and Personal Interview. 

NIFT 2027 Situation Test will be tentatively conducted on April 26, 2027.

NIFT Objection Window opens for two days. For 2027, it will tentatively open from February 17, 2027, to February 19, 2027 till 11:50 PM. After this duration, candidates cannot raise objections against the NIFT Answer Key.

With a late fee of INR 5,000, candidates can apply online until Jan 19. Further, the Phase 1 exam will be held on  Feb 8, 2027. 

NTA will release recorded answers for the NIFT written exam in the third week of February 2027. The recorded responses are released for GAT for all the UG and PG programmes. The recorded responses are available at exams.nta.nic.in/niftee.

There is no option to apply for a recheck of NIFT results. If the candidate has any doubts, they are allowed to challenge NIFT provisional answer key. Final Answer key is made on the basis of Provsional answer key.
