There is no minimum percentage criteria required in class 12 to appear in JEE Main. However, it is advised for the candidates to secure minimum 75% marks in class 12 or get admission in IITs, NITs or IIITs. 

The eligibility criteria to appear in JEE Main are:

• Candidate must have passed or appearing in class 12
• There is no age limit to appear in JEE Mains
• Candidates must have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/any other vocational subject for Paper 1 (BE/B.Tech). For paper 2, candidates need to have Mathematics as compulsory subject along with any other subject combination. Candidates can appear in JEE for three consecutive years from the year of passing class 12

NIT Hamirpur offers MTech courses based on GATE CCMT scores. The students get shortlisted on the basis of merit lists and counselling rounds. While the counselling process starts, candidates with their names in the seat allotment list are provisionally admitted to the respective courses. The shortlisted candidates need to report to NIT Hamirpur within the due date for each counselling round and submit the fees.

After fee submission, candidates are required to verify the required documents to confirm their seats for final admission at NIT Agartala. If the confirmation of admission is not done before the final date, then the allotment will be cancelled. 

National Institute of Technology Hamirpur and National institute of Technology Manipur are the two top colleges for MTech admissions. Both colleges accept GATE CCMT scores for the admission to the MTech and MTech Integrated courses. NIT Hamirpur cutoff 2024 for Round 6 for the CSE specialisation stood at 374 and 453 for 2023 and 2024, respectively. Similarly, NIT Manipur cutoff for Round 6 stood at 357 and 400 for 2023 and 2024, respectively. As per the cutoff information available, it can be observed that NIT Calicut is comparatively more demanding among the candidates.

The NIT Hamirpur counselling 2022 process has been concluded after the release of Round 3 on the official website of DASA. For the upcoming admission session 2025, candidates are required to fill an online application form on the online admission ptal of DASA. To apply for the DASA UG counselling process, candidates can follow the step mentioned below:

• The candidates eligible for DASA counselling have to register to be able to participate in the admission process. The DASA counselling registration process is given below:
• To register, the candidate needs to enter the JEE Main 2025 application number and Date of Birth. A web link will be mailed to complete the registration process on the email ID registered with JEE Main. The application number of JEE Mains will be your username.
• In the registration form, candidates have to fill in the required details. Applicants are required to upload the following:

1. the latest passport size photograph in JPG format (size ~ 3.5cmx3.5cm, file size < 100kB).
2. Scanned signature of applicant in JPG format (file size<100 kB). 

• Submit the completed DASA application form. The submitted online registration form should be downloaded and saved for their records. However, there is no need to send the hard copy of the form and documents to the DASA office.
