You can get CSE in GFTI as per the JoSSA counselling cutoff last year. You cannot get any branch, like CSE, ECE in NIT at this rank.

As per the student reviews, the NIT Hamirpur campus has been remarked as especially beautiful and full of greenery. The campus is spread across 320 acre land. Further, the location makes it ideal for students to make a weekend trip to scenic places, such as Manali, Dharmshala, and more. All these places are within a few hours of travel. There are also multiple cafés which specialise in various cuisines and have their own signature taste and specialty.

Candidates willing to take admission in NIT Hamirpur must appear for certain entrance exams accepted by the institue. These include- JEE Main, NATA, CAT, MAT, GATE, IIT JAM, etc. They must also fulfil the eligibility criteria required for admission.

To apply to MNIT Jaipur, SPA Bhopal, and NIT Hamirpur, check eligibility criteria based on academic qualifications and required entrance exams (usually JEE Main for undergraduate, GATE for postgraduate). Register for the exam, appear on the scheduled date, and participate in counseling.
MNIT Jaipur, NIT Hamirpur uses JEE Main and JoSAA counseling for undergraduate, GATE for postgraduate. SPA Bhopal uses NATA and own exams for undergraduate.

There is no minimum percentage criteria required in class 12 to appear in JEE Main. However, it is advised for the candidates to secure minimum 75% marks in class 12 or get admission in IITs, NITs or IIITs.
The eligibility criteria to appear in JEE Main are:
- Candidate must have passed or appearing in class 12
- There is no age limit to appear in JEE Mains
- Candidates must have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/any other vocational subject for Paper 1 (BE/B.Tech). For paper 2, candidates need to have Mathematics as compulsory subject along with any other subject combination. Candidates can appear in JEE

Admission to NIT Hamirpur is mostly determined by entrance. Admission to different courses is conducted by national-level entrance tests like JEE Main, GATE, and so on. Final seat distribution is carried out via CCMN, CCMT, and other counselling sessions. Only JEE Main results are accepted by NIT Hamirpur for admission to its BTech programme. As a result, individuals can apply to NIT Hamirpur for admission to a variety of programs, except for BTech, without taking the JEE Mains.

Admission to NIT Hamirpur is conducted through CCMN scores. Based on the scores, the NIT Hamirpur cutoff 2024 is released for the candidates. The cutoffs vary from college to college. NIT Hamirpur offers MTech courses based on GATE CCMT scores. The students get shortlisted on the basis of merit lists and counselling rounds. While the counselling process starts, candidates with their names in the seat allotment list are provisionally admitted to the respective courses. The shortlisted candidates need to report to NIT Hamirpur within the due date for each counselling round and submit the fees.

National Institute of Technology Hamirpur and National institute of Technology Manipur are the two top colleges for MTech admissions. Both colleges accept GATE CCMT scores for the admission to the MTech and MTech Integrated courses. NIT Hamirpur cutoff 2024 for Round 6 for the CSE specialisation stood at 374 and 453 for 2023 and 2024, respectively. Similarly, NIT Manipur cutoff for Round 6 stood at 357 and 400 for 2023 and 2024, respectively. As per the cutoff information available, it can be observed that NIT Calicut is comparatively more demanding among the candidates.
