If you have interest in coding and can code all your life, then IT/CS is good in both colleges NIT and IIIT. If you like core hardware/electronics (things like BJT, MOSFET, etc.) then go for ECE.

NIT Raipur CSE is better as CSE has more options than ECE. There are lots of jobs available inCSEfield than ECE field. There are various government and private jobs available in CSE.

Probably, in internal sliding or in last round. But, chances are very low. Although in 2015, last candidate was around 9500 (after every round that did happen including internal sliding), but can't be sure for this year.

Do not compare branches on the basis of placements, they are never fixed. Choose what you like. If you are good in your field, you will definitely be placed. Also, there is no official data provided by our college regarding placements and if say unofficially that might even not be true but ECE students have better opportunities at least, because they are also eligible in CS/IT companies.
