The breakfast experience at NIT Meghalaya can be a mixed bag, as they attempt to cater to diverse regional preference. Some days, you may find enjoyable options from different parts of India, but on other days, the execution may fall short, leading to disappointment. Lunches on college days are typically lackluster, with the combination of price, curry, and vegetables lacking flavor and variety. The situation doesn't improve when meals are served in the hostel, as the quality remains subpar, failing to meet expectations. For dinner, one can expect an average dining experience, neither exceptional nor particularly satisfying. In summary

Yes, if we talk about National Institute of Meghalaya, there are few kind of scholarship available, basically it depends on the category from which you belong .
If you are from SC or ST category you don't need to pay any tuition fee you just have to pay hostel and mess, and apart from that, you will get government scholarship from various scheme as per my knowledge what my friends are getting is around 60-70 thousand per year so from that only you can pay your college fee.

If you are from general or OBC category then it depends on your family income, if your family is making less than 2 Lacs you don't have to pay tuition fees

We are having a letter grading system it goes like for the grading of the students based on the performance as per the evaluation scheme and Later Grades shall be awarded. The faculty awards the grades with the highest grade SA then AA, AB and it goes like that.  How SGPA is calculated (semester marking)?

It is the weighted average of grade points secured by the student in the credit courses taken by him and is given by the expression:

SGPA = (1/ Ct ) CiGPi, I = 1

where, n is the number of credit courses
