NIT Nagaland offers a total seat intake of 200 for its BTech course. The seats are spread across the multiple specialisations offered. The BTech seats are offered based on candidates scores in the JEE Main exam followed by CSAB Counselling.

To secure MSc seats at NIT Nagaland candidates must have IIT-JAM scores. Further, students have to go through the CCMN counselling for final seat allotment to the institute. In addition to the exam, students must also meet the minimum eligibility criteria set by the institute which is to have a bachelor's degree, namely BSc (Hons) in Physics with first class or 6.5 CGPA for General and OBC candidates and 55% aggregate or 6.0 CGPA in 10 scale grading for SC and ST candidates.

No, your state do not matter in the case of JEE Main admission at NIT Nagaland. This is because, NIT Nagaland doesn't releases its JEE Main cutoff based on Home State quota. It releases the cutoff in the form of opening and closing ranks for All India quotas only. Moreover, as per NIT Nagaland JEE Main cutoff 2024, 75k is a moderate rank to get admission at NIT Nagaland, candidates can get admission with this rank. Further, the candidates can check the courses available under the acquired cutoff for the General AI category candidates:

NIT Nagaland offers BTech and BTech Integrated courses based on JEE Main scores for the All India and Home State categories. For OBC AI quota, the required cutoff ranged between 56910 and 109553. The candidates scoring a rank of 50k in JEE Main will surely get admission to NIT Nagaland as per the NIT Nagaland JEE Main cutoff 2024. You will need to submit the following paperwork as part of the admissions procedure in order to apply to NIT Nagaland:
Certificates of Education:
copies of grade cards and mark sheets for the SSLC, SSC, and Matriculation, 10+2, Intermediate, and Bachelor's degrees that have been self-attested.
certificate of provisional degree (in the event that the final degree has not yet been issued).
Images:
Your name and self-attestation should be on the back of four recent passport-sized photos.
Certificate of Category:
For SC, ST, and OBC (non-creamy layer) candidates, a self-attested community certificate.

Yes, MSc is available in NIT Nagaland. The programme is offered at a full-time mode. The MSc at NIT Nagaland is offered in a full-time mode that lasts for two years. The course curriculum is spread across four semesters. The MSc course is only offered in two major specialisations: Physics and Chemistry.
