NIT Nagaland BTech cutoff 2023 for Computer Science Engineering was 9933 for OBC category. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE Main, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For JEE Main Round 6 cutoff 2023, the opening rank was 46135 and closing rank was 57852 for the general category candidates under All India quota. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 54592 and 65818. Admission to Civil Engineering in NIT Nagaland is based on the scores obtained in the JEE Main entrance exam. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

NIT Nagaland cutoff 2024 has been released on the basis of JEE Main scores followed by the JoSAA counselling. The Round 1 cutoff has been released for BTech courses for General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS and PWD categories. During the NIT Nagaland BTech cutoff 2024, the Round 1 closing ranks ranged between 27265 and 49671 wherein CSE was the most competitive course with the lowest rank. Direct admission is not offered for MSc at NIT Nagaland. Admission to MSc is based on the JAM scores followed by CCMN counselling. However, the institute conducts entrance exam to fill the vacant seats after CCMN counselling. Further, before applying for the MSc programme, candidates must qualify for the course-wise eligibility criteria.
Eligibility criteria: Bachelor's degree Bsc with 60% aggregate in Chemistry as Honours/Major

IIT Jam, the exam is conducted online as a Computer Based Test (CBT). The IIT Jam will have two papers. Paper 1 consists of Chemistry, Geology, and Mathematics. Paper 2 covers economics, Biotechnology, Physics, and Mathematics Statitics. The duration of the IIT Jam exam is three hours. The questions paper has Multiple Choice (MCQ) and Integer Value (Numerical Value Answer) type questions. IIT Jam exam papers will be for 100 marks.

IIT JAM exam 2026 is going to be held on Feb 15, 2026. The result will be declared on March 20, 2026. Admit card will be out on the official website.
