NIT Nagaland offers a total of four specialisations for its M.Tech course. The specialisations is offered are listed below:

• MTech in Power Systems Engineering 
• MTech in Computer Science and Engineering 
• MTech in Communication Engineering 
• MTech in VLSI Systems

NIT Nagaland offers a number of scholarships to its students. Most of these scholarships are offered by the District Welfare Officer (DWO) of various districts. These scholarships are based on merit/ social category/ economic backwardness. These are listed below in the tabular form:

JEE Main exam has three subjects- Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Question paper of JEE Main is prepared with questions from all the three subjects with equal weightage of 33%. A total of 90 questions are asked in the exam, 30 each from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The syllabus of JEE Mains for all three subjects is as per the CBSE/NCERT textbook of class 11 and 12. Candidates can check the syllabus from the official website of JEE Main or from the Shiksha page.

NIT Nagaland cutoff 2025 will be available on this page as opening and closing ranks following each round of JoSAA counselling for admission to the Engineering courses. Yes, NIT Nagaland does offers seat reservation for its BTech course. The seats are reserved for the special categories students. Candidates can find below the seat reservation:

NIT Nagaland offers a total seat intake of 200 for its BTech course. The seats are spread across the multiple specialisations offered. The BTech seats are offered based on candidates scores in the JEE Main exam followed by CSAB Counselling.

 NIT Nagaland offers BTech in Civil Engineering in a full-time mode lasting for four years. Find below the subjects offered under the course:

To secure MSc seats at NIT Nagaland candidates must have IIT-JAM scores. Further,  students have to go through the CCMN counselling for final seat allotment to the institute. In addition to the exam, students must also meet the minimum eligibility criteria set by the institute which is to have a bachelor's degree, namely BSc (Hons) in Physics with first class or 6.5 CGPA for General and OBC candidates and 55% aggregate or 6.0 CGPA in 10 scale grading for SC and ST candidates.
