To NIT Puducherry CSE, since your percentile in JEE Main is 90, and since, moreover, you belong to the SC category, female, and home state candidate, you stand a good chance. Getting into NIT Puducherry with a rank of 6 Lacs seems unlikely. The previous year's closing ranks were:

- General: 138,928 - 206,045

- OBC: 75,745 - 102,063

- SC: 11,782 - 39,489

- ST: 17,166 - 27,984

Your rank is above these ranges.

With a 6 lakh rank, getting into NIT Puducherry is pretty much not possible, even in the last rounds. Their closing ranks are way higher, even for less popular branches. Unless you have a strong category rank or special quota, chances are next to none.
