The overall NIT Trichy vibe is quite positive. The university has a lively environment. NIT Trichy provides UG and PG students with all the needed facilities. NIT Trichy is well-equipped with all the modern classrooms, a library, hostels, and computer labs, among others. Some of the other campus facilities include:

Yes, NIT Trichy releases the result on the basis of Home State quota. For admission to BTech, the JEE Main Round 1 cutoff 2025 has been released for different categories, including OBC under the HS quota. For the first round, the closing ranks ranged between 1620 and 8877 for the OBC category students belonging to the HS quota. For the OBC category students under the AI quota, the Round 1 cutoffs were between 376 and 7579. Upon reviewing the first-round cutoff ranks for both the quotas, we can see that the competition was comparatively less for the students belonging to the HS quota as compared to the AI quota students.

NIT Trichy JEE Main cutoff 2025 for Round 1 has been released for different categories of students belonging to the AI and HS quotas. If you belong to the General AI quota, the first round closing ranks for NIT Trichy varied between 1104 and 18304 for B.Tech. admission across multiple specialisations. NIT Tiruchirappalli cutoff 2025 has been released for admission to MSc specialisations on the basis of CCMN scores. The cutoff was released for the 161 and 703 for the General AI category candidates. Therefore, the lowest rank to get admission to the college for the General AI category is 161. Among the OBC AI category candidates, the ranks varied between 382 and 1041. For the OBC AI category candidates, the lowest rank was 382.

You can get CSE in GFTI as per the JoSSA counselling cutoff last year. You cannot get any branch, like CSE, ECE in NIT at this rank.
