The cut-off closing rank for RMLNLU LLM in the General All-India category dropped to 277 in 2024. In comparison, the previous year's closing rank was 101 in 2023 and 108 in 2022. RMLNLU LLM CLAT Cutoff is released for every round of seat allotment. The closing rank is finalised only after the last round of counselling. The candidates should have a valid score in CLAT and meet the eligibility criteria; for this, the candidates must hold an LLB degree with at least 50% aggregate marks.

The applicants are systematically admitted to the LLM programme at RMLNLU. Candidates have to first register and apply for the CLAT PG, which is the requisite test that allows them entry into the institution. After the declaration of the result for CLAT PG, candidates shall look for a cut-off list released by RMLNLU. Candidates who will meet the cut-off shall be considered for counselling. Upon selection, candidates have to complete the formalities related to admission and deposit the prescribed fee.

Admission to the LLM programme at RMLNLU are currently closed. Applications are accepted based on the CLAT PG scores. The CLAT PG test was held on December 7, 2025. Candidates seeking admission through the CLAT PG test have to satisfy the eligibility in terms of admission, where candidates must have an undergraduate law degree with at least an aggregate of 50%. Thus, the above-mentioned dates are tentative and as per the official website.

Yes, RMLNLU charges one-time fee for LLM course. There is one-time payment after selection of candidates, which is INR 20,000, including admission fee and caution deposit refundable in addition to the tuition fee that has to be paid annually. However, aggregate amounting to INR 45,000 sums up to INR 55,000 as course fees for LLM. Above-mentioned fees are subject to revision.

The LLM course offered at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University is considerably cheaper compared to most of the law colleges, such as NLSIU Banglore, NLU Delhi, etc. The total fee of the LLM course amount is INR 1.2 lakh and entails tuition fees and all charges. Amount may change, as information is sourced from official website. Hence, it is less than most of the other top law colleges. However, RMLNLU can be considered one of affordable options to study law.

LLM at RMLNLU is a one-year full-time postgraduate course scheme of the LLM course encompasses diverse areas of legal studies, and its operation is divided into two semesters. The law course shall provide advanced 'legal' education with theoretical knowledge and insights into practicum.
