Yes, though there is no separate application fee for applying to RMLNLU students must pay application fees to register for the CLAT exam and counselling process through which students are selected. 
The CLAT application fee is INR 4000 for both UG and PG level admissions. This fee can be paid online through Net Banking.

The NLU Lucknow CLAT Cutoff 2026 was released till round 2 for all categories under the All India quota. For the PWD AI category, the round 2 for the BA LLB (Hons) course was 16485. On the other hand, for the LLM course, the cutoff was 5286. Students can click here to know the round 1 and round NLU Cutoff 2026 for the PWD AI category.

After the CLAT 2025 Revised Result, Round 1 seat allotment has been released by RMLNU Lucknow. Aspirants would have to decide whether they want to accept, revise or withdraw from the seat allotment process before the final date for the new counselling registration round gets over. Those who want an upgrade will be required to pay a confirmation fee to secure their seat at the institution.

RMLNLU Lucknow Cutoff 2026 was out for Round 1 for admission to BA LLB (Hons) and LLM programme for students under the All India quota. The Round 1 closing cutoff rank for the General AI students was 747 for the BA LLB (Hons) course. For the same category, the Round 1 closing rank for Master of Law (LLM) course was 290, indicating that the competition for this course is higher than the BA LLB (Hons) course.

As per 2024 cutoff data, it looks like you can make it to RMLNLU. With OBC rank of 1721 you can get into RMLNLU.

To get the RMLNLU requires a strong score on the CLAT (Common Law Admission Test). Scoring around 70-75 in mocks can be a good starting point, being a OBC candidate, since some NLUs have reserved seats for OBC categories, which increases your chances to get the college for that reserved seat.

If you not got a seat in RMLNLU, you can significantly improve your CLAT score. Aim for consistent practice and focus on your preparation in the months leading up to the exam.

The last round closing rank for B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) was 764 for general AI. Further, the closing round rank stood at 277 for Master of Law (LL.M.).
