The application process for PhD and PG Diploma courses is conducted on the official website of NLU Lucknow. Whereas, for admission to BA LLB and LLM courses, candidates must register for CLAT exam at consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The registration process is common for all UG & PG courses. To get admission to NLU Lucknow, candidates must go through a multi-step selection process. For admission to UG & PG courses such as BA LLB and LLM, candidates must apply and qualify for CLAT exam. Further, for admission to PhD course, the university conducts RMNLU Writtent Test. After the commencement of all the selection rounds, candidates are notified through merit list. Later on, the shortlisted candidates must pay an admission fee to secure their seats.

The fee for B.A. LL.B course is INR 5.50 Lakh for the whole course of 5 years, i.e., INR 55,000 per semester. The university has been approved by UGC and BCI. Available seats are 142. The highest package was INR 10 LPA. 

Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow

The fee for B.A. LL.B course is INR 6.07 Lakh for the whole course of 5 years, i.e., INR 60,000 per semester. The university has been approved by UGC and BCI. Available seats are 187. The highest package was INR 6.55 LPA. 

After comparison, NUSRL, Ranchi is found better than RMLNLU, Lucknow.

The LLM placements at NLU Lucknow are quite good. The college has a dedicated Internship and Placement Committee that facilitates placement activities for students. Top recruiters like Anand and Anand, AZB & Partners, DSK Legal, and many more visit the campus for recruitment drives. In 2020, four students from the 1-year PG programme opted for higher studies, and in 2020, 18 students from the 5-year UG programme were placed with a median salary of Rs. 4,50,000 for UG students and Rs. 70,000 for PG students. RMLNLU admission to B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and Master of Law (LL.M.) is based on CLAT scores followed by the CLAT Counselling. Candidates with a valid CLAT scores are eligible for RMNLU admissions.
