Students are recommended to showcase their excellence in various activities which is a part of the holistic admission process at the university. Other than extracurricular activities, must also have a strong academic performance, standardized test scores and relevant work experience to get selected for admission.

Northeastern University was founded in 1898 first under Evening Institute for Younger Men. The university has also gone through many changes in the past with it named as Northeastern College in 1916 and finally named as Northeastern University in 1922.

The Oakland campus of Northeastern University has the same acceptance rate as the main campus as a part of the Northeastern University system. The campus has received an overall acceptance rate of around 5.2% which makes it extremely selective for international student admissions.
The students who have received admission to the Northeastern Oakland campus can change to Northeastern main Boston campus after their first year or they can choose to continue to study at the Oakland campus.

The campus has 2,281 students and 89 nationalities have been represented in the community from around the world. Northeastern London is located at St Katherine Docks which is close to historic tower of London and Tower Bridge.

As per the recent 2024 report of the Northeastern University overs 2,759 students get enrolled at the univeristy out of 98,425 applications. where nearly 5,133 students got admitted that means the univeristy selection process is completitive and students with higher academic performance and excellent test scores.
