Work experience is not strictly necessary to apply for the MS in Artificial Intelligence at Northeastern University. The programme is specifically opened to students with some level of programming along with a math background yet real-life experience is not a required qualification for admission. However, it remains a benefit to the students because they could take a co-op or internship opportunity under arrangement during their studies. Thus, such will give the student some industry experience.
