This means that candidates have the liberty to take XET from any place, provided they have an internet connection and a desktop or laptop. A candidate is eligible to register for the XET if he/she meets the requirements mentioned below:
- Candidate must be 35 years or below in age.
- Candidate must have completed 3 years of Graduation (12+3 years) in a university-approved stream in India: (Arts, Commerce, Science, Computers, BMM, BMS, BE, Catering, etc.)
OR - Candidate must be appearing for the last semester or Third-year Graduation in the present academic year.
Note: In the last case, is a candidate is selected for the XIC Course of their choice, and complete it in keeping with the Academic, Attendance, and other standards laid down by XIC, the Post Graduate Diploma will be awarded only on completion of their Graduation and on submission of the relevant attested Final mark-sheet of their graduation.

Xavier's Entrance Test application process and admission process are explained in the steps mentioned below.
Step 1: Registration
Candidates have to register themselves by clicking on the 'register' on the official website of the university to fill in the application form. Candidates have to ensure that they kept a scanned copy of a recent passport-size photograph of themselves ready for uploading before filling in the online registration form. Candidates have to enter the following details while filling out the application form:

- Captcha Number
After submitting the details, candidates might have received a login ID and password which could use to log in, to avail of the XIC Entrance Test (XET) application forms.
Step 2: Fill XIC Entrance Test (XET) Application Form
Candidates have to fill out the online application forms. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before filling out and submitting the application forms. Candidates will have to pay their XIC Entrance Test (XET) 2026 application fee online by using their Bank Debit/Credit Card/ Net banking/ UPI. The Registration fee for the XET is INR 2,500/- only (inclusive of GST).
Note: As part of the Registration Process, candidates will have to provide their Statement of Purpose (SOP). If they qualify for the Personal Interview stage, it could be brought up for discussion. Hence, candidates are advised to give sufficient thought while putting their SOP together.

Candidate were advised to check their Junk/ Spam Email Folders in case they do not receive the admit card after the registration procedure. Candidates had to preserve their admit card carefully as only this document was accepted in all further transactions between a candidate and XIC.
Step 5: Appear for XIC Entrance Test (XET)
