No, after the OJEE exam is cleared, candidates will have to go through for further selection procedure conducted by the participating institutes. The OJEE scores are accepted in over 40 management colleges in Odisha for admission. Candidates need to meet the cutoff criteria of the participating institutes to take admissions. The admission process includes Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). Other factors such as academic record, work experience, etc. are also considered for admission to various institutes which accept OJEE scores. After the OJEE result declaration, top colleges which accept the OJEE scores start the shortlisting process. The OJEE scores are accepted in over 40 B-schools in the state of Odisha. After the results, the OJEE Cell releases OJEE  merit list. OJEE participating institutes then release OJEE cutoffs category-wise and invite applicants to appear for the OJEE counselling process which includes Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds for admissions. The OJEE result will be declared online after the exam is conducted. The OJEE result cum scorecard is an important document for the OJEE counselling and admission process. The following details are mentioned on every candidate's OJEE scorecard:

  1. Name of the candidate
  2. Candidate's roll number
  3. Candidate's applicarion number
  4. OJEE exam date
  5. OJEE course that the candidate appeared for
  6. Overall marks obtained by the candidate
  7. Rank obtained by the candidate
  8. OJEE qualifying status

The merit lists for OJEE will be issued based on the ranks obtained by the candidates. OJEE merit list 2023 will be released separately for each course.

No, Odisha Joint Entrance Examination is a state-level examination that is held in about 32 test cities. New test cities were added to the list in the year 2022. Among these 9 new test cities, Patna, Ranchi and Kolkata were the test cities outside the state of Odisha. only in the state of Odisha. OJEE test citites are:

Reserved category students will be given a five percent relaxation in the minimum aggregate required for students from Schedule Caste or Schedule Tribe categories for all the courses offered through Odisha Joint Entrance Examination. There is also a 30 percent reservation for female students in Bachelor of Technology, Bachelor of Planning, Bachelor of Architecture, Master of Business Administration, Master of Computer Application, and Integrated Master of Business Administration. The OJEE Board releases the OJEE counselling notification online on the website, ojee.nic.in. The OJEE counselling process has started on June 20, 2025.

Candidates who qualify the OJEE exam will be eligible to participate in the OJEE counselling process.
