Indian students are used to the concept of campus placements and on-campus recruitment for getting jobs. However, there is no concept of placements at Canadian universities or any other foreign university for that matter. Most Canadian universities have a cell called a Career Services Center, which helps you get jobs and helps you prepare for interviews. But that is all, most of the times. The job search is driven by student interest.

There are two ways to do it:
1. Apply for an associate degree first which are less competitive and less expensive as well to study for two years and then apply for bachelor's in the university of your choice.
2. If you can afford the cost of $15k to 20k a year, apply to the university with TOEFl/IELTS. LOR's and marks transcripts for the course you are interested in.
