You have to do PhD to become a lecturer. So PG doesn’t have as importance as PhD.

Admission in any engineering college in Panjab University is purely on the basis of rank in JEE Mains 2018.

It is in south campus. The main department of engineering is PU. PU offers mechanical engineering.
