This course is not available at IGNOU. However IGNOU offers PG Diploma in Mental Health (PGDMH). The PG Diploma in Mental Health (PGDMH) programme is offered by the Discipline of Psychology, SOSS, IGNOU. The Programme aims at providing the learners a sound base in the field of mental health through an in-depth study into a broad range of psychological issues and concerns related to mental health. The eligibility criteria and other details are given below. Eligibility : Post graduates in Psychology/Social Work/Nursing or All medical graduates (Allopathy, Homeopathy, Ayurvedic, Unani, Siddha). Course duration : 1 to 4 years

Generally, the eligibility of this programme with any of the revered University/College is 60% Marks in Qualifying Examination I. e. 0+2 or MLT Diploma.* However, if, in case, you have completed 3 year Diploma in MLT or 1 Year Diploma in MLT after 10+2 (Medical/Non-Medical) with 60% marks you can seek admission in B.Sc. (MLT) [Lateral Entry Programme] offered by some of the Universities of prominent repute like Lovely Professional University.
