The minimum eligibility for Bachelor of Optometry course in LCOO is 10+ 2 in science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects from recognized board. They must have obtained minimum 45% marks in qualifying examination.

Hi Ishita!
For optometry degree course, first you need to appear for the entrance exam and after that you need to select a college of your choice. AIMS, JNU, DU, CMC are some of the entrance exams you need to clear anyone of these.

You can definitely pursue a Masters degree in clinical psychology as you have studied nursing in your bachelor degree. Paramedics work with emergency medical services and give pre-hospital treatment to patients. The most common paramedics that we encounter are those who transport patients between facilities in ambulances. They need to have a good grasp of what to do when in need of an emergency and it is their responsibility to give the best care possible to the patients before they reach the hospital. Paramedical courses are available at degree, Diploma and certificate level. The duration of the course can be anywhere between 6 months to 4 years. Job opportunities are:-

The main areas in paramedical education include Physiotherapy, Pharmacy, Nursing, Occupational therapy, Audiology and Speech therapy, Medical laboratory technology, Radiology/X-Ray technology, Dental hygienist and Dental mechanics, Operation theatre assistant, Optometry and Ophthalmic assistant and other.

Hi,
Paramedical courses are pretty good as there are some fields which have immense career scope ahead such as forensic sciences, Biotechnology, microbiology, Genetics, MLT etc. For admission in paramedical courses there are entrance exam conducted every year by various Universities such as Delhi University, Panjab University etc. Career scope is either you could go with research, or after graduation go with MBA with this go in industrial jobs. Opportunities are good both in India and abroad. Good luck.
