Getting part-time jobs while studying at Montserrat College can be a little difficult. International students are not allowed to work off-campus. There may be opportunities for on-campus employment, and students can apply for these jobs through the Human Resources Office when classes begin. Tuition cannot be paid using funds generated from on-campus jobs. Before starting studies at Montserrat, students must pay their entire tuition.

Getting part-time jobs at Georgia College is manageable. Students are paid bi-weekly for actual hours worked. International students are not eligible for FWS and they can only work in "college work-study" positions such as positions in the library, bookstore, computer lab, and dining hall. Students are permitted to work on campus up to 20 hours a week while school is in session. The approximate pay that students get is $7/hour.

Students can get part-time jobs on campus while studying by the FWS program. The Federal Work-Study (FWS) Program offers students an opportunity to earn money by working part-time and gaining valuable hands-on work experience. Work-Study students can work on or off-campus for up to 20 hours per week. Students who are not awarded FWS can file a FWS request so they can be placed on a waitlist. Students can also benefit from a paid Public Service Corps (PSC) Work-Study Internship.
