Yes, there are more than 70 professors at NDIM. Among them, about 40 professors hold PhD degrees. NDIM faculty members are associated with more than 30 international universities and 300+ corporates.

The placement rate recorded during IIIT Hyderabad PhD placements 2023 was 100%. The highest package offered was INR 15 LPA.

Panjab University offers admissions into PhD programme to students after they have appeared for entrance exam. However, the university does provide exemptions on the basis of the following:
- Candidates who have already cleared any of the national tests, such as UGC-CSIR NET including JRF, SLET, GATE
- Any prestigious test of national-level scholarship/ fellowship conducted at all India levels on behalf of the national institution (s), for example, GPAT, and JEST
- Direct awardees of fellowship for pursuing PhD
- Those working as permanent teachers at Panjab University and affiliated colleges are also exempted from the entrance test.

For admission to PhD for the academic year 2023, the application forms are not out yet. However, the application forms and notification for PhD admission 2022 were out on PUCHD's official website on September 15, 2022 and the last date to apply for the same was October 30. For the academic year, there are no updates yet available on this year's schedule. However, students must stay tuned for more details on the admission timeline.

Admission to PhD is based on NET/ SET/ GATE score. University of Engineering and Management, Kolkata offers a full-time/ part-time/ integrated PhD programme with different specialisations. The duration of PhD course varies between three and six years duration. Candidates must complete a master's degree or PG diploma/ degree in any discipline with at least 60% aggregate to apply for the PhD course.
