The University conducts its own entrance test for admission to PhD programme. Any candidate, who has done master’s in the relevant discipline of law, can apply for the same. NLIU Bhopal offers a PhD programme in three different disciplines of Law. PhD is offered with a minimum course duration of two to three years and a maximum of six. The University conducts its own entrance test for admission to PhD programme. Any candidate, who has done master’s in the relevant discipline, can apply for the same. It is mandatory to submit a letter of recommendation. For students, the recommendations are usually accepted by faculty members from the last attended institute. In addition, for working professionals, a superior of candidate can write a recommendation letter. It could be someone, who can elaborate on the candidate's research capabilities. IIM Calcutta gives each of the student a stipend starting at INR 30,000 per month, which goes up to INR 35,000. Each of the student can avail of the student development grants of up to INR 65,000 for the first-year of course, and up to INR 25,000 for subsequent years. Moreover, the stipend and grants are facilitated for four years. However, it can be extended up to one or more years based on demonstration of enough progress in dissertation work. For admission to a PhD/DPM course in IIM Kolkata, aspirant must meet the eligibility criteria. Only eligible candidates can fill out the admission form. Find below the eligibility requirements for the programme:
