As of my knowledge, IIIT Surat does not offer a Ph.D. programme in Applied Physics. It's recommended to visit the official website of IIIT Surat or contact the institute directly for the most accurate and updated information regarding their Ph.D. programme offerings.

Yes, Ph.D. in English is offered at IIIT Trichy under Ph.D. in Science & Humanities  (Mathematics/ PhysicsEconomics / English).  Those candidates who wants to pursue Ph.D. in English can visit the official website of Indian Institute of Information Technology Trichy.

The online application must be submitted with a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 1000 (Rs. 500 for SC/ST/PH) and a reference number from SBI Collect.

To get admission in IIIT Trichy for Ph.D. in Economics, a candidates must hold a First Class Bachelor or First Class Master degree in the appropriate field of Science or humanities (Mathematics/ PhysicsEconomics / English), with a minimum of 60% overall (CGPA 6.5/10) in undergrad or graduation school for candidates in the OC/OBC category and 55% overall or an equivalent CGPA of 6.0 for candidates in the SC/ST category.
To be eligible for a fellowship, a full-time candidate must have a valid UGC/CSIR/NET/GATE score.
