Well, if you are really interested in it, then you must have to quit your job as per the UGC guidelines for PhD. Second, you can also apply for JRF for your research. JRF means Junior Research Fellowship in that UGC will pay you for your research.

Hello Gaurav,
It's very nice to know your ambition of pursuing PhD. First & foremost you have to decide from which place / institution you want to do this. Then you have to register. Some institutions conduct exam to weed out non serious candidates. Now you search for a guide and seek his assistance in deciding your topic of research. That's it.

Different universities have different eligibility criteria for their Ph.D program. Please check with the university for admission requirements in their Ph.D program. On an average, the minimum requirement is 60% or 6.00-6.75 CGPA in their M.Sc. program. If you have completed Master's degree you can apply for PhD. You need IELTS to prove your English proficiency. You have to apply with good research proposal.
