I am sure no one will say part-time is better than the full-time. You can complete the full-time course under the direct guidance and regular supervision of your guide and it adds to your real knowledge as well. However, if you are doing a job and cannot leave that to do full-time Ph.D, then you should opt for the part-time course. Both the modes have compulsory course work in which you need to attend the classes.
