You are advised to do PhD in IT Project Management or Software Engineering from IGNOU or AIMA-AMU by distance learning. This will help you shift your career to academics and contribute to knowledge of young budding engineers.

For MS, it is quite difficult, you can get up to 70% scholarship. If you face any problem, then you can take loan from the university. You can opt for multiple scholarship options, but it is not easy to qualify in every scholarship program.

Most of the good universities will not accept, but if you choose tier 2 universities, then they may accept it. But, first you should choose some tier 2 universities in USA and email them and also your distance must be accredited by AICTE, IGNOU or UGC.

You are technically sound, in that case both Ph.D and MBA have great career prospect, but you are working as a lecturer for 4 years, so in my optioning you should go for Ph.D.

Hi,
PhD abroad is not that easy. So, I would suggest you to write to the universities directly and enquire about it. Generally, they allow credit transfer on the basis of courses or if your suggested research is of importance to them.
