A person can pursue Ph.D in a subject in which he/she has completed Master’s program. All universities do have provision for Ph.D, you need to check their websites and explore opportunity.

Ph.D. stands for Doctor of philosophy. It is the degree which is awarded to the person after he/she goes for the research work in that particular field or those who provide in the particular field.

Since you already hold an M.Tech, doing another MS degree makes no sense at all, particularly, if you don't want to be a lecturer. Kindly, note that if you plan to pursue Ph.D. teaching or lectureship is compulsory at least for the initial stages in some countries and holding a Ph.D. mean

51% is too low and for Ph.D admissions, candidates must be highly academic. You will find options in India or also look for part-time Ph.D options. If you want to go abroad you can check less competitive countries such as countries in East Europe.

Hi, To pursue PhD courses you need to pass Masters / M.Phil. with minimum 55%. You need to sit for an entrance exam.
