You need to prepare a research proposal to sub,it to the relevant universities along with clearing your IELTS and GRE tests. You additionally need to find a University supervisor who would guide you on the research project that you wish to undertake.

Please tell me WHY you want to do Ph.D at THIS stage? Please do not mis-understand me, but I wish we could discuss what exactly are your plans after completion of this Ph.D- whether you wish for a "MID-CAREER Shift" as they call it, how old are you, are you married with children etc. In fact I appreciate your initiative unlike many who would declare they are "well settled" and drop any idea of further studies!

Additional Info:
The applicants should have a Bachelor´s degree (or the equivalent) with a Major in: Engineering Physics, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Bio Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

You can do your Phd or you can do a job after completing your MPT Course.
I would recommend you to take some experience before doing your Phd.
You can get lot of job opportunities in different industries like Hospitals, schools, clinics, factories, offices etc as assistant physiotherapist, Osteopath, customer care assistant, lecturer, research assistant, researcher etc.
