4. Jamia Milia Islamia

I think now a days distance PhD is stopped but there are programmes part-time Ph.Ds offered by almost all universities.

Hello Vinith. The total no of students is 97 in 14-16 batch and 90-98 in 15-17batch. ISME has a diversity of 20 States and faculty with PhD degree. So ISME is a mix culture of 20 States and faculty with experience and expertise.

If you know the subject well and have passion for it then it is ofcourse easy. Economics as a subject has very few indians who have contributed to the academics and if you have done your grad or under- grad in econ, you must hv come to know that you study american economy more. So prepare

PhD in most of institutes in India is minimum two year duration course. PhD is awarded in your area of subject based on research. Some students are able to complete PhD is two year but majority take 3 to 4 years to complete PhD.
