If you have done MBA distance learning from a recongnised university, then you are eligible for seeking admission in PhD. You can also do PhD by distance learning from IGNOU.

Hi Shweta,
Unlike in India, you must be accepted by a research supervisor in foreign universities to pursue Ph.D. Requirements and process also differ. You need to rigorously and excessively research on universities offering research work in your area of interest, email them and also share your research proposal or interest with them. Keep checking the websites for admission notifications and apply. Universities in US will require a GRE. Overall expenditure also varies, most Ph.D programs in US are funded and they offer full funding or on-campus research assistantship jobs. If your course is not AIU approved then course is not equivalent to MBA degree, therefore, you will not be eligible for Ph.D in India or abroad on management.

Dear Swetank,
Both, Canadian and international students are eligible for Vanier scholarships. To be eligible, however you must be nominated by a Canadian University or be a full time student into a Masters or Ph.D or post-doctoral program. Excellent academic record and research orientation would be required.

No, you need to have a degree in nutrition to apply for Ph.D. You need to do Masters in nutrition and then you can do Ph.D in the same.

Yes, you can do PhD after doing PGDM, your 2 year Diploma course is equivalent to MBA. You can do PhD. The eligibility for the same is PG from a recognized university.
