1. Read two newspapers every day- I would suggest the Hindu and Indian Express. You can read it online or whatever. Read Editorials and Op-Ed properly.
2. Read Frontline every week cover to cover.
3. Start reading fundamental concepts and theories (see point 6).
4: Brush up the Indian political history (India after Gandhi by Ram Guha is a good start).

Candidates with Bachelor's degree. (Minimum of three years duration) or equivalent from a recognized university are eligible to apply for TISSNET. Only final year student or graduate are eligible to take part in exam.

It will not create any problem. Candidates must hold a graduation degree in any stream from a recognized university. Candidates who are awaiting results of their graduation exams are also eligible to apply for Preliminary exam. However, such candidates need to submit the proof of passing the requisite exam at the time of applying for Main exam (if qualified).
