Overall, the candidate should pass Class 12 with 70% to 80% aggregate to be eligible for BSc at Presidency University, Kolkata. Since, the university accepts PUBDET scores for admission, the student should meet the eligibility criteria. Candidates should have cleared higher secondary examination Class 12 that is conducted by CBSE, West Bengal or equivalent exam, not before 2020. The candidate must pass Class 12 with at least five recognised subjects, including English language and excluding Environmental Science. The aggregate is to be calculated in the best four recognised subjects.

PUBDET application form will be available soon at the official website of the exam. However, for the previous academic session, PUBDET application form was released on January 3, 2023 and closed on January 31, 2023. After successfully registering, candidates can fill the application form by entering information such as personal details such as domicile, category, PwD status, home district, family income status, religion, nationality etc. Academic qualifications of Class 10 and Class 12 details also need to be filled in.

Presidency University offers Priyamvada Birla Scholarship. The scholarship shall be added to awarded to a total of 25 students pursuing full-time degree (graduation in general degree-BA, BSc, BCom etc.), Professional Course, Engineering, Medicine in any college/institute from recognised college/institute in West Bengal. Students having any confirmed admission for the first year of full-time degree course are only eligible to apply.
