Dear Student, I am the LPU's working member. I can give you some important information about the B.Tech. CSE programme at LPU.
1) LPU's engineering faculty is ranked 66th out of all public and private institutions by NIRF.
2) The B.Tech CSE programme has been created to give students a competitive edge through a rigorous curriculum and practical experience with specialised technology to help them acquire skills that meet industry demands.
3) To improve expertise in the technical and/or emergent domain, a package of 4 to 6 elective engineering courses is offered. (For instance, electronic and electrical students taking classes in robotics, cybersecurity, and automobiles to develop their expertise in these fields. )
4) Co-curricular programmes and MOOCs The curriculum includes activities like competitions, workshops, guest lectures, educational excursions, live projects, projects in incubators, community projects, projects with NGOs, etc.
5) Industry-collaborated trainings, projects, and guest lectures enable students to gain experience in actual workplace settings.
6) The programme also offers credit transfer options, allowing students to begin their engineering degrees at LPU and complete them at overseas universities through a tie-up.
7) The university also offers the chance to enrol in B.Tech CSE in Hons programmes that are managed through partnerships, such as CSE-Data Science & Data Engineering in partnership with Transorg, CSE-Cyber Security and Block Chain in partnership with Compayia, and CSE-Full Stack Software Development in partnership with Geeks for Geeks.
8) Universities have partnerships with industry, and students have been hired by well-known companies like Microsoft, IBM, Infosys, Cloudera, The lowest India, CISCO, D. E. 9) The maximum B.Tech CSE package for the 20212022 academic year is 3 Crore & 62.72 LPA in EIGHTFOLD, while the average package is 6.2 LPA.
10) Universities encourage entrepreneurship by offering SEED money. If a student has a start-up project or commercial venture, universities may offer grants ranging from Rs 2 Lacs to Rs 5 Lacs. The development of software or an app could receive more than Rs 20,000 or more.

For admission into B.E and B.Arch course, the institute accepts KCET/COMEDK and NATA scores respectively. Candidates who are seeking admission in M.Tech are required to possess a valid score in GATE/PGCET exam. While, admission to MBA and MCA depends upon KMAT/PGCET score. In case of MBA, MSRIT also considers the score of MAT/CMAT for selection.

Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Electronics as optional subject and have obtained 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/Cat-1 and OBC candidates).

For granting admission in the B.E course, the institute considers the score of KCET/COMEDK exam.
The qualified candidates will get a call to attend the counselling round of the qualifying exam.
During the counselling, applicants need to register online, get their documents verified, fill the choice of course and college.
Lastly, based on the rank and choices, the concerned authority will allot seats to candidates and such candidates need to report at the allotted college to participate in further admission rounds.

Greetings, Jayendra Both LPU and MRSIT are well-known higher education institutions. In terms of CSE and EEE, being an LPU alumnus, I would prefer LPU over both institutes.
Excellent Placement: LPU has a strong reputation of placing CSE students. Every year, around 500 organizations, both national and multinational, come to LPU for job placement. For CSE, the student can get a maximum package of 64 LPA. LPU's the highest package for the ECE programme is above 40 LPA, with an average package of 5.1 LPA.
