For B.Tech lateral admission in MSRIT Bangalore, you need to appear and qualify Diploma Common Entrance Test DCET conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA), Bangalore. The eligibility criteria is given below. Qualifications: Should have passed Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserve category) in the appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology from an approved institution.

Yes, it is better than others universities because of the reason that I Let you know to tell you that both of the colleges are the topmost private engineering college across the country. Also it is true that every curiculam, academics and placements are totally dependent on CSE branch performance;

Average package VIT greater than MS Ramaiah

You need a very high rank (22737) in DECT. Most of the seats are reserved for the state domicile students so getting admission from foreign state is going to be very difficult. And the lateral entry and the normal entry is same.

1)CSE (ai&ml) has a cutoff edge over ise while best part of ise is it does not have any hardware subjects.
2)moreover ise is less recognised while CSE is well recognised all over world.
3) ai and ml is the upcoming future.
4) both departments hod are supportive
5) Their is relaxation in attendance in ise department.

The eligibility criteria of MCA of Ramaiah Institute of Technology is given below.
Eligibility: Candidates who have passed a 3-year bachelor's degree from a recognized university with not less than 50% of the marks in aggregate of all the years of the degree examination with Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Science/ Computer Programming/ Computer Applications/ Business Mathematics/ Business Statistics as one of the optional subjects/ electives at degree level. In case of candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC/ST and Category-l the minimum aggregate is 45%.
