Hello,
Yes, you can get admission for B.Tech lateral entry for robotics and automation in MIT Pune.
Eligibility:
Candidate must have completed Diploma Course in Engineering and Technology in relevant stream with minimum 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) from an All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved Institution or its equivalent.
Or,
Candidate must have completed B.Sc. from UGC/ Association of Indian Universities recognized University with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates of backward

* Eligibility for Artificial Intelligence Course
Candidates wishing to apply for the course need to meet the following minimum eligibility criteria: A minimum aggregate score of 55% at the level of graduation in B.Sc or BE /B.Tech or an equivalent degree with Mathematics as one of the main subjects of study completed from a recognized institute or university. You can go with M.Sc. In Data Science which some colleges offer after you complete B.Sc. In Computer Science. Else you can go with M.Sc. In computer Science.

Hi,
Candidate must have completed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Bio -Technology/ Biology/ Electronics/ Computer Science as optional subjects. The above-mentioned percentage is for the above subjects taken together. Must have also English as one of the languages of study. Candidates who have passed from Karnataka State Open University are not eligible to apply.

In most of the colleges, The Robotic engineering course is not offers at UG level. This course is studies at PG level. However few college like SAGE University Indore offers B.Tech Automation and Robotics at UG level. Amity University offers B.Tech+ M.Tech Integrated course in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (Artificial intelligence is defined as the ability of an artificial mechanism to exhibit intelligent behavior. It is closely associated with robotics)
