RWTH Aachen Uni MSc in Computer Science course is a 2-year long course (4 semesters). The language of instruction of MSc in CS course of RWTH Aachen is English and German. For admission to this course, a first university degree (Bachelor's degree) is required.

There are over 50 RWTH Aachen courses available to Indian students in English. These English-taught programs are generally offered at master's level only.
Master's courses in areas like Software Systems, Production Systems, Automation Engineering are taught in English at RWTH Germany.
However, a majority of bachelor's courses would require a C1 level of German language proficiency.
Given below are the language proficiency exams required for both languages -
- English - IELTS (6.5+) or TOEFL (90+)

No, RWTH Aachen University does not really ask for a GMAT or a GRE score for most of the master's courses available here. This university focuses mostly on the factors given below for a successful application to RWTH Aachen.

As per the US World and News, RWTH Aachen is ranked better than TUB. The ranking for RWTH is far from the Technical University of Berlin. However, the Technical University of Berlin rankings are improving with each passing year but for RWTH, the case is the exact opposite.

Yes, in the year 2025, the US World and News has ranked RWTH Aachen University and it has been ranked and as per the US News and World Report 2025, RWTH Aachen University has been ranked at #225.

The MSc in Data Science course of RWTH Aachen Uni is 2 years. This course is completely taught in English. Indian students are required to submit a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or a closely related area. RWTH Aachen MSc Data Science deadline is Sep 1, 2026 for the summer semester. GRE is also required for admission to this course.

As such, there is no tuition fees at RWTH Aachen Uni, with the exception of courses from RWTH Academy. But, Indian students have to pay a social contribution fee, which includes a semester ticket fee. On average, the semester ticket may cost around Euros 300 per semester. Per year, the cost of living in Aachen will be around Euros 13,200 per year.

For MSc courses available at RWTH Aachen, it generally offers large size classes for the foundational modules.
The reason is the high popularity of courses like Computer Science and Automotive Engineering.
