The admission in SASTRA University is based upon two streams:

Stream 1: 75% marks of class 12 boards and 25% marks of JEE Mains is considered for ranking.

70% of the seats get filled with this stream. As your percentile I'm JEE Mains is less, your rank will get increased. If your class 12th percentage is around 90-95% and 80% in JEE Mains, then you have good chances to get into SASTRA University.

As It is mostly depandent on 12th percentage and JEE main mark (sastra will calculate like this 12th percentage * 0.75+jee main mark * 0.25)

As you have already got 98.6% in boards, hopefully you will get CSE in Sastra University.

For Sastra, there is no Cutoff and no minimum percentile required in JEE MAINS.

It is based on 12th percentage and JEE Main mark (SASTRA will calculate like this 12th percentage * 0.75+ JEE MAIN mark * 0.25)

Total- 165 marks.

Based on your score out of 165 they will alot a admisssion.

Therefore, there is no minimum percentile you need.

However, you need to score good marks in both (12th and JEE MAINS).

No, your score must be above 97% in IPE to get eligible in this college. Your chances for SASTRA are very high. Please apply through the stream-1 only for admission in SASTRA

Both colleges are prestigious compared to other top institutions but B.Tech  in Chemical Engineering has better scope in the future than B.Tech in Pharmacy, since it has a good placement and better job opportunities, in the coming time, the demand for chemical engineers will go up in the future.
