It totally depends upon the candidate however it is fair to say that it is not everyone's cup of tea to crack the examination very easily. Some questions include new concepts as well, which sometimes becomes a challenge for students hence making it a little difficult to tackle those. However, the right amount of practice and learning will make sure that candidates can approach some new concepts as well. Language barrier is also one of the reasons why Indian students hesitate to appear for this examination, as the higher level of English is seen in the comprehension section, One might find it a little over the board. But it is not impossible, you just need to read as many essays, articles and passages in the English Language as possible to be confident enough.

Students interested in admission in any of these colleges or universities apply for this examination. The examination is divided into three sections - 

• Reading Section 

• Writing and Language Section

• Mathematics Section - Both Calculative and non calculative. 

At times, one additional section i.e. Essay section is also added in the SAT examination. The usual time duration for the examination is Three hours (180 minutes ) or Three Hours and Fifty Minutes, if the essay section in included. 

The best part of SAT Examination for Indian students is that the examination is conducted seven times in various months in one year. They can take as many attempts as they choose to.
