The Bihar Student Credit Card gives a loan of up to INR 4 lakh. The loan has no interest. Repayment starts one year after the course ends.

Under the +2 scheme, unmarried girls who have passed 12th Class can apply. A separate Snatak scheme is for girl graduates. Both forms are filled on the Medhasoft portal.

Boys and girls who have passed 10th Class can apply under Mukhyamantri Balak/Balika Protsahan Yojana. They register on the Medhasoft portal with details exactly as printed on their board marksheet.

There is no single portal. Post Matric uses pmsonline.bihar.gov.in and scstpmsonline.bihar.gov.in. Protsahan, Kanya Utthan and Medhavriti use medhasoft.bihar.gov.in. Civil Seva Protsahan uses bcebconline.bihar.gov.in.

Central schemes are filed on the National Scholarship Portal at scholarships.gov.in. State schemes are filed on the state portal, and twelve states and union territories use NSP instead.
