About Scholarship – SAIMS provide scholarships to students on a merit basis and also on a need basis but not full scholarships. Scholarship categories: A – Merit (10-20% tuition waiver) B – Government scholarships SC/ST/OBC, C – Economically Weaker Sections (EWS). Eligibility: GPA, NEET rank result, family income. Scholarship amounts: UG courses INR 50,000 to 1 Lacs per year, PG courses INR 1 to 2 Lacs per annum Scholarship @ 20%. Average scholarship value: INR 75,000/year. Total scholarship outlay: INR 1.5 crores per year The student population is largely economically fragile, and 90 per cent of students require scholarships, loans, and fee exemptions.

Dayananda Sagar Institutions (DSI) offers merit-based scholarships to deserving students. 100% scholarships are awarded to: Karnataka CET exam toppers (AY 2019-20) top 10 candidates, NTSE & other state Talent Place, and Candidates with 95% marks & above in their 10+2 examination. Other scholarship options: For merit students 80-94% in 10+2 examination, fee exempted 50-90%; Sports quota 20-50% fee exempted; SC/ST/OBC students on government scholarship 100% fee exempted; For economically weaker sections of the society 10-50% waiver is given; 20% students receive scholarship annually. Total scholarship value: The cost for these scholarships is between INR 5-7 crores per annum more than 500 students benefit from scholarships annually. Scholarship renewal criteria: total 75% and above semester-wise attendance along with 7 and above cumulative grade point average.

JVIT provides Scholarships to deserving students out of the eligible students there in Jnana Vikas Institute of Technology. The company scholarship programme offered by JVIT grants scholarships to 20-25% of the students. Scholarship categories: Merit-based (up to 100% of tuition fees), Government-sponsored scholarships (for KCET rank holders, for SC/ST/OBC), Management sponsored scholarships (5-50% of tuition fees). Eligibility: Aggregate of 90% or more in 10+2 in sciences subjects PCB/PCM or 80% in B.E Scholarship amount: INR 25000- 120000 per annum to gifted students who fall into top 1-2% students KCET ranks 1-100 JEE main rank 99+ percentile. JVIT also functions to pay concession fees to students who are sportsmen, students with disability, and poor students.
