Yes, all full-time PhD scholars who are shortlisted for provisional registration are paid INR 25,000 per month for a maximum period of three years. Those who have qualified in UGC NET (including JRF)/ CSIR NET (including JRF)/ GATE/ GPAT are paid INR 31,000 per month for a maximum period of three years. The eligibility for availing stipend every year, subsequent to the provisional registration, is based on the progress made in research during the previous year, as part of PhD.

SRMIST offers scholarships to help meritorious students with their academic goals. Further, the university has collaboration with a number of banking & funding organisations to enable students and parents to access scholarship and education loan services. MBA Scholarship for aspirants with UG degrees is 85% and will be given a concession of INR 50,000 in second-year tuition fees. The concession is subject to MBA first-year CGPA of above 8 and no standing arrears and commendable in participative learning. It must be noted that the information mentioned above is as per past years' data.
