Under Mark System :- Candidate must have at least 50% marks in Statistics/Applied Statistics (Main)/Mathematics & Statistics (Double Main)/Mathematics (Main) with Statistics as one of the subsidiaries in the B.Sc. Degree of this University or equivalent. OBC/OEC candidates are eligible to relaxation up to 5%. SC/ST candidates need only to get a pass. Under Grade System B.Sc. Statistics /Applied Statistics (Main) /Mathematics & Statistics (Double Main) /Mathematics (Core) with Statistics as complementary in the B.Sc. Degree of this University or an equivalent degree with Overall CGPA, at least equivalent to 50%. OBC/OEC candidates are eligible to relaxation up to 5%. SC/ST candidates need only to get a pass.

Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination individually in the subjects Physics Chemistry Biology and English Core/English Elective and must have obtained minimum of 45% marks taken together in PCB subjects from Recognised Board Under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board or students appearing in 10+2 examination in science conducted by National Institute of Open School with 45% marks. Candidate must have a domicile of UT of J&K/UT of Ladakh. Candidate who does not have domicile Certificate at the time of filling up application form can upload an undertaking Certificate. For Candidates belonging to UT of Ladakh, ST Certificate issued by Competent authority of Ladakh shall be treated as Domicile Certificate. Candidate must be physically fit. Candidate must be at least 17 years old on 31st December-2022. Candidate appearing/appeared in 10+2 (12th Class) examination 2021 can also apply.
