BA in Astronomy is a popular course, or you can also pursue BA in Sanskrit, and then pursue MA in Astronomy. For college, I would suggest for a local one, as there are a few good colleges, but it is not worth to leave home to study in such colleges, as there are no placements and in the end only your degree will matter anyway.

B.Sc from BHU is really a good option, don't come in AKTU (if you will not get any good college). Try to get admission in IET Lucknow or KNIT Sultanpur. These colleges have good history of producing good engineers, BIET Jhansi will also be a good option if you got it.
