Studying forestry is not a good choice in NERIST as forestry in NERIST is just a sidelined course running along with engineering. The scope is good in forestry field if you pass from a reputed college.

M.Sc is a two years postgraduate agricultural Science & Technology course and trained students in research and monitoring of wildlife and their habitats as well as in their conservation.
Eligibility criteria: Bachelor's degree in Veterinary / Agriculture/ Forestry/ Environmental Science. The admission in top colleges like Wild Life Institute-Dehradun are based on NET exam followed by the personal interview. The general criteria for other universities/colleges is B.Sc in relevant discipline with 45% of aggregate marks because your marks are really outstanding. So, you can get a seat in your desired college very easily.

M.Sc in wildlife science is a two-year full-time curriculum having four semesters since its inception. There are about 20 seats in the University of Kota. The eligibility criteria for this course is as under:
