Hi Maria Shiny,
You need to appear for the entrance exam conducted by the University which is OUCET. The details of the exam are as below.

Minimum Eligibility to Apply is that you need to clear your Graduation with minimum 40% marks and other additional details are the mandatory course: B.Sc( Zoology) which you must have as this is the basic eligibility to apply for M.Sc in Zoology.
Admissions
Admission is through counselling based on the marks obtained in Osmania University Common Entrance Test(OUCET).

As per the internet research, the entrance exam date for PG 2019 was likely to be 3rd week of September 2019. The result will however be displayed on the college website.

Mathematics is very much compulsory for DU JAT. You should have Maths, either as additional subject (6th) or optional subject (5th). It is compulsory only for BMS, BBA, FIA and BBE in DU.
