Hi Hasim, Yes, Periyar University is UGC approved, and you can apply for it as well. But, before that you need to be sure of and decide which course you would prefer to go for.

Jamia is a better option for direct campus placements as from Aligarh University, students usually go for higher studies as there are less campus placement opportunities.

If you are general or OBC, then don't expect B.Sc. . Physics from DU in 83%. I got 93.6% in PCM & I got listed in the 5th cut-off. If you have at least 90%, then you can hope for it. But, you can do B.Sc. . Phy from other universities like IP, etc.
