Many students opt for M.Sc. after their B.Sc. This is mostly due to a desire to have higher qualification as just graduation is not valuable. Sometimes it is also due to a desire to go for research out of interest or just to study as one didn't find a good job. After B.Sc. some also opt for M.Sc. with a thought that one can prepare for other competitive exams like civil services, etc. besides pursuing M.Sc.
"So what to study after M.Sc.?" is again a question for those who just moved on to M.Sc. after B.Sc.
Options for what to do after MS/M.Sc include-
Go for PhD.
Go for the industry if you get a placement.
Apply for scientific assistant posts in research institutes.
Go for teaching.
Try for banking jobs.
Try for civil services.
PhD options-
This is what many people opt for if they have a chance. This paves way for potential research skills. For this, they need to qualify the entrance exams so as to be eligible for admission to the PhD programs in reputed universities and also will be provided with monthly fellowship from government bodies.
Industry job-
This is a good option but many consider it to be difficult to find one. The common industries one can try for are like pharmaceutical, biotechnology, agriculture, food, dairy like industries. If one can have a contact or try through some consultancy, they will be able to get a call for interview and also may qualify for the job.

B.Sc. Mass Communication or Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications is an undergraduate mass communications course.
Mass Communication is the term used to describe the academic study of the various means by which individuals and entities relay information through mass media to large segments of the population at the same time. It is usually understood to relate to newspaper and magazine publishing, radio, television and film, as these are used both for disseminating news and for advertising. Mass communication research includes media institutions and processes such as diffusion of information, and media effects such as persuasion or manipulation of public opinion.
Students who have successfully passed class XII (or equivalent) in any discipline with at least 55% marks in aggregate.
Final year +2 students, who expect their final results by May, can also apply for B.Sc. Mass Communication.

For B.Sc. Honors course, career prospects in terms of job opportunities depend on the specialisation a student opts for. For instance, students with a degree in B.Sc. (Honours) Physics can apply for a job as a financial analyst, lab technician, etc. Whereas students with a degree in B.Sc. (Honours) Chemistry can apply for a job in sectors such as medical research, laboratories, utility companies, technical journals, etc.
Students pursuing a degree in B.Sc. General course can apply for a job in fields such as teaching, banking, and marketing. It may be noted that there are many job prospects for students pursuing B.Sc. Honors and B.Sc. General courses in both Science and non-Science fields. However, it is recommended for students to pursue a Masters programme after getting their Bachelor of Science degree to get a better profile and higher salaried jobs in their respective fields. Apart from the research jobs, students can also work or get jobs in Marketing, Business & other technical fields. Science graduates also are recruited in the bank sector to work as customer service executives. Students can also find employment in government sectors.
